FLIP Series

These robots are Yamaha's high performance and cost effective line of single-axis linear and rotational robots. The FLIP series are designed so that each components serves a logical function. The NEW FLIP series are developed by reviewing each component even further. High rigidity was added to the machines' proven completeness. Performance, rigidity, and low cost, factors that conflict with
each other, are harmonized in high degree.
 
The FLIP series feature cable saving servo motors, high speed design, and large selections of different axis lengths to fit your needs.
 
The versatile model delivers maximum speeds to 1875 mm/sec, repeatability precision to ±0.01 mm, maximum payloads to 120kg. Wide range of models from a 53-mm-high thin model to a 195-mm-wide slender model.

Type T
The frame-less structure T type features a compact size and low price. This type is suitable for applications as an actuator that is directly installed on a frame and does not require a high level of axis rigidity.(*1) A total of six models is available including the T6 to T9H models with 100 and 200VAC input power supplies, and the T4 and T5 models that are the smalles in the 24VDC power supply series.
*1) Application to an otrhogonal robot is possible by installing a reinforcement plate, etc.

Type F
This model has a highly rigid frame and features a large tolerable load moment and strength against offset loads. This type is suitable for orthogonal robots that require rigidity in the arm, and to moving arms fixed onto a slider that moves the axis body. The maximum speed is 1200mm/sec and the repeatability is ±0.01mm, which is the highest speed and highest accuracy in the class. Five models with a payload between 20kg and 120kg max. are available allowing use with a variety of applications.

Type B
Timing belt drive type, high-speed, long stroke model. Ideal for process-to-process carriage which requires high speed. Maximum stroke length:3050mm, Maximum speed:1875mm/sec, both deserve pride of top grade performance in the industry.

Type R
This is a high-accuracy rotation axis type robot with a repeatability of ±30 sec (0.0083"). When combined with the above four types, this type can be used as the rotation axis for the 2nd and 3rd axes, and can also be used in applications such as index tables.
