Easy Read Flow Control, Needle and Check ValvesDeltrol's unique line of Easy Read Flow and Needle Valves incorporate a metal setting knob and stem for added durability and positive operation. Color coding on the stem allows you to precisely set flow requirements by simply turning knob to the appropriate marking.Flow Control Valves provide controlled flow in one direction, free flow in the opposite direction. Flow adjustment can be made under pressure. Setting knob can be locked in any desired position with convenient set screw. Easy Read Check Valves operate on slight differential pressure; full flow is permitted in the direction of the arrow, positive check in the opposite direction. Recommended flow rate ranges for Flow and Check Valves from 3.0 GPM (11.4 L/min) to 55 GPM (208 L/min); 4.5 GPM (17.0 L/min) to 100 GPM (378 L/min) for Needle versions. Gauge Isolator ValvesPneu-Trol Gauge Isolator Valves is designed to prevent surge damage to a gauge in all types of hydraulic circuits. The Gauge Isolator Valve also acts as a snubber to prevent damage to other hydraulic components - hydraulic chatter, pulsation and fluid hammer can cause costly down time of equipment. Simple to operate - just push to read. Depressing the knob allows fluid to flow around the spool to the gauge. When the spring-loaded knob is released the spool is automatically returned to the closed position, allowing the fluid to drain from the gauge out the exhaust port. The valve may also be used as a 3-way valve. Maximum operating pressure is up to 3,000 PSI (207 bar) in non-shock service. The ports are 1/4" NPTF. The body is steel; the knob is aluminum; and the spool is hardened steel (Rockwell 50/55). Operating stroke is 1/4". The orifice in the gauge port is .020" (.51mm) standard with optional (extra charge) orifice of .062" (1.57mm). Part number is GI21S and it may be mounted in a panel or on a bracket. |
Gauge SnubberPneu-Trol Gauge Snubber is a fixed pressure valve which protects your gauges and other delicate instruments from hydraulic shock pressure surges and pulsations, yet provides rapid and smooth response to pressures up to 5,000 PSI (345 bar). The unit is made from carbon steel and has 1/4 - 18 NPT ports - female in and male out. The orifice is .015" (.38mm). Part number is GS20S and it is designed to be mounted inline. |

Pressure Compensated Constant Flow ValvesPneu-Trol Pressure Compensated Constant Flow Valves are exceptionally accurate in maintaining constant flow with pressures up to 3,000 PSI (207 bar). Non-adjustable units (Series 4) provide exact factory-set output gallonage, regardless of inlet pressure up to rated limits. Adjustable valves (Series 5) permit infinite adjustment of output gallonage independent of inlet pressure, and may be adjusted under pressure. Series 3 is a new miniature 1/4" valve for smaller flow rates. Series 4 and 5 Pneu-Trol Pressure Compensated Valves feature free reverse flow, which allows a maximum return flow with minimum pressure drop. The compensating action of these valves results from a fixed diameter orifice or an adjustable orifice at the intake end and a series of variable orifices at the output end. Flow through the variable orifices is controlled by a spring and piston. These elements - the spring and piston - work together to regulate hydraulic flow within the determined rates. Flows are controlled within ±15% up to 1.5 GPM (5.7 bar) and ±10% at higher flow rates up to 30 GPM (114 bar). Regulation is virtually unaffected by fluid temperature changes from 60°F (16°C) to 180°F (82°C) (at a temperature differential [ΔT] of 70°F (21°C) flow variation is ±2% max; at a temperature differential [ΔT] of 120°F (49°C) flow variation is ±4% max). Units are made of high-strength steel. Knob on the Series 5 is aluminum. Operating temperature range of the Viton o-ring packing is -15° to +400° (-26° to 204°C). Ports are tapped with NPTF threads. On special order, these valves can be supplied with ports threaded to MS specification. Port sizes not listed also may be provided. Consult Flo-Products Sales. Air Bleed ValvePneu-Trol Air Bleed Valve is used to remove trapped air from a hydraulic system, allowing the system pump to prime itself. The valve will pass air or a small amount of oil with pump pressure below 50 PSI. Trapped air in the system is bled off back to the reservoir until a solid stream of hydraulic fluid at +50 PSI (3.5 bar) closes the valve. This is automatic during every system start-up. The valve should be installed at the high point of the hydraulic system using a tee connection. Body is carbon steel. Ball is stainless steel. All other parts are steel. Maximum operating pressure is 5,000 PSI (345 bar). Orifice is 1/16". Ports are 1/4" NPTF. Pat number is AB20S. |
Pilot-Operated Check ValvesPneu-Trol Pilot-Operated Check Valves utilize a 4:1` pressure to the pilot port to unseat the check ball, permitting free reverse at will. Normal free flow is permitted in the forward direction and a positive ball check stops the flow in the reverse direction. There are three sizes of check valves with hydraulic pilot (2:1 under 90 PSI) operation: 1/4" PIC-20S with 6.0 GPM (23 L/min), 3/8" PIDC-25S with 10.0 GPM (38 L/min), and 1/2" PIDC-30S with 12.0 GPM (45 L/min). The 1/2" size is also available with an 2:1 air pilot as APIDC-30S. ISO 7/1 - RS (BS21:1995) standard valves are available in two sizes: 1/4" PICB-20S with 6.0 GPM (23 L/min) and 3/8" PICB-25S with 10.0 GPM (38 L/min). Valves are all steel construction. Maximum operating pressure is 3,000 PSI (207 bar). Buna N O-ring has an operating temperature range of -40°F to +212°F (-40°C to +100°C). |
Shuttle ValvesPneu-Trol Shuttle Valves operate as a three-way valve with two inlet ports and one outlet port. The check ball moves away from the inlet port with the greatest differential pressure and against the port having the least differential pressure. Soft Buna N check ball seals insure bubble-tight operation. Maximum pressure rating is 200 PSI (14 bar) non-shock service. The valve is constructed of brass and is available in two sizes: 1/8" SV10B and 1/4" SV20B. |
