The Pico series feature compact, durable DC servo motors, with compact footprints to conserve valuable factory-floor space.

The versatile model line delivers maximum speeds to 200 mm/sec, arm strokes to 600 mm, repeatability precision to ±0.02 mm, maximum payloads to 12 kg. Model widths range as low as 45 mm, with heights under 55 mm.

Each model comes complete with arm. Yamaha's high performance, fully programmable PRC controller and standard cables for all Pico models is included.

The FLIP series are designed so that each components serves a logical function. The NEW FLIP series are developed by reviewing each component even further. High rigidity was added to the machines' proven completeness. Performance, rigidity, and low cost, factors that conflict with each other, are harmonized in high degree.

The FLIP series feature cable saving AC servo motors, high speed design, and large selections of different axis lengths to fit your needs.

Yamaha YP-X series robot is Yamaha's original pick & place type robot developed in pursuit of "higher speed, more compact size and more ease of use". Yamaha developers always make efforts to develop new products with advanced technology, e.g., combining contrary concepts such as super high speed and yet highly accurate or compact size and yet high payload and have achieved successful results.

Yamaha YP-X robots deliver max. X axis speed 1,500 mm/sec and max. Y axis speed 1000 mm/sec (YP340X). Equipped with the ball screw, both the X axis and Y axis have the repeatability of ±0.02mm, and Z axis which employs an anti-backlash belt, offers ±0.05mm. Model widths range as low as 109mm greatly enhances the degree of freedom in the layout of production line.

Yamaha SCARA Robots

YK series

SCARA stands for Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Arm. As may be known from the name, the robot has compliance only in specific directions (X and Y directions) and has high rigidity in other direction (Z direction), and thus, has been designed mainly for automation of assembling works. At present, it is used in various production sites as a robot that is very effective not only in assembling works but also in component carrying works (pick & place works) because of its outstanding speed. Although SCARA robot is examined by comparing with cartesian coordinate robot in many cases owing to its operating range, it can be said that SCARA robot is suitable for works requiring speeds on three axes or four axes motions because of its excellent cost-performance ratio. The features of this robot include its small installation area that provides higher degree of freedom in design of a system, and in addition, provides an advantage that, in case the system is disused in the future, the robot can be installed easily on another system.

Yamaha Clean Room Series Robots

CLEAN ROOM Series

These robots are Yamaha's clean room robots ideal for handling electronic parts, food or used for medical purposes. There are seven models of FLIP-X series with payloads up to 120kg and cleanliness level of Class 10. There are eight models of SCARA YK-X series with 4-axes, payload up to 20kg, and cleanliness level of Class 10. And there is a single model of cartesian XY-X series with 2 axes, payload up to 20kg, and cleanliness level of Class 10.

Yamaha Robot Controllers

ERCX/SRCX/DRCX
TRCX/RCX40 Series

These controllers are used on all series of Yamaha robots to provide the programmed sequence of instructions for movement. The ERCX and SRCX controllers are for one single-axis robot. The DRCX controller can control a 2-axes robot or two single-axis robots. The TRCX controller can control one 3-axes robot, two 1-axes robots or three single-axes robots. The RCX40 controller can control one 4-axes robot, or a combination of 1 and 2 axes robots totaling 4 axes..
