Return Filters

bullet MPF Series filters are designed for return lines, and are installed semi-immersed in the reservoir. Bypass valves are a standard feature. Research and experimentation on both filter elements and mechanical components has resulted in reduced load losses, high filtration efficiency and excellent performance in concentrating contaminants. Filters in this range are designed for flow rates of up to 215 GPM. MPF series filters are particularly suitable for use in mobile machinery or agricultural applications. Head formed from cast aluminum. Bowl formed from plastic. Buna-N seals are standard; Viton seals are optional. Bypass valves are optional. Series MF Filter Element Cartridge comes as inorganic microfibre filters ranging from 3 to 25 micron; as resin-impregnated paper filters ranging from 10 to 25 micron and as square wire mesh from 25 to 250 microns.

bullet MPT Series filters are designed for use in the return line semi-immersed in the reservoir. The bypass valve is a standard feature and a built in air breather can be added as an option for most sizes. The goals of research and experimentation both on filtering media and on mechanical parts were the reduction of pressure drops, and the high filtration efficiency and dirt holding capacity. The present production range meets requirements up to 40 GPM. The filters of MPT series are particularly suitable for use on small units in industrial, mobile or agricultural applications. Head formed from aluminum. Bowl and cover formed from plastic. Buna-N seals are standard; Viton seals are optional. Bypass valves are standard. Optional Air Breather in 10 micron or 40 micron. Series MF Filter Element Cartridge comes as inorganic microfibre filters ranging from 3 to 25 micron; as resin-impregnated paper filters ranging from 10 to 25 micron and as square wire mesh from 25 to 250 microns.

      Max. Working Pressure: 100 PSI
Flow Rate: 3 to 40 GPM
Filter Material: Inorganic Microfibre, Resin-Treated Paper or Wire Mesh
Type of Indicator: None, Visual or Electrical
      Mounting: Semi-Immersed
Port Option: BSP, NPT or SAE
      Collapse Pressure: 145 PSI
      Bypass Diff. Pressure: 25 PSI +/- 10%
      Working Temperature: -13°F to +230°F

bullet MPH / MPI Series filters are designed for return line applications and provide various installation requirements. Particularly suited for mobile machinery applications, these filters are easy to maintain and versatile, making them ideal also for industrial plant, where there is a need for specific requirements of space and assembly. The filtration flow from "inside to outside" of the filtration element assembly ensures that the contaminant is collected inside the element itself, avoiding contact with tank oil during element change. Manufactured of high quality aluminum, the filters operate with pressures up to 145 PSI and nominal flow rates up to 520 GPM. The bypass function of the filter element is provided by axial displacement. Rapid response times and the high flow-through section obtained from the particular design of the element assembly filter cover ensure good filtration characteristics, even during pressure peaks and/or flow surges. The screw type (MPH 100) or easy-off cover (MPH 250-630) ensures a quick and easy replacement and us of the filter for filling the tank. The MPH 100 series is available with the option of an air filter, with various filtration types. Air-to-tank connection is provided by a special anti-splash breather which, in the event of sudden movements of the tank, prevents the oil from coming into contact with the air filter. The MPH 250-630-850 series can be specified with dual ports. MPH-MPI filters have magnetic column throughout the fluid passage, even during the bypass phase. Head formed from aluminum. Cover of the MPH 100 is formed from plastic. Cover of the MPH 250-630 is formed from aluminum. Cover of the MPH 850 is formed from Steel. Buna-N seals are standard; Viton seals are optional. Bypass valves are optional and made of steel as is the diffuser. Optional Air Breather in 10 micron or 40 micron. Series MR Filter Element Cartridge comes as inorganic microfibre filters ranging from 6 to 25 micron; as resin-impregnated paper filters ranging from 10 to 25 micron and as square wire mesh from 25 to 90 microns.

Max. Working Pressure: up to 145 PSI
Flow Rate: 13 to 260 GPM
Filter Material: Inorganic Microfibre, Resin-Treated Paper or Wire Mesh
Type of Indicator: None, Visual or Electrical
      Mounting: Semi-Immersed
Port Option: BSP, NPT, SAE or SAE Flange
      Collapse Pressure: 150 PSI
      Bypass Diff. Pressure: 11.5 or 22 PSI +/- 10%
      Working Temperature: -13°F to +230°F
Type MPI is mounted inside without a head.

bullet FRI Series filters are conceived to meet different installation and filtration requirements on return or low pressure lines. Thanks to their construction these filters can be tank or in line mounted; their modular structure allows changing easily the same filter from one option to another one. They are particularly suitable for industrial applications, like metal sheet presses, plastic injection machines, steel industries, etc. These filters can withstand operating pressures up to 300 PSI and their range covers nominal flow rates up to 320 GPM. None, Visual or Electrical differential clogging indicators and bypass option available. Cover formed from aluminum. Bowl is formed of aluminum except for FRI 850 which is steel. Buna-N seals are standard; Viton seals are optional. Bypass valves are optional and made of plastic. Series CU Filter Element Cartridge comes as inorganic microfibre filters ranging from 3 to 25 micron; as resin-impregnated paper filters ranging from 10 to 25 micron and as square wire mesh from 10 to 250 microns.
