bullet Hy-Pro Dualglass elements feature our Dualglass inorganic fiber media combined with integral pre-filter and media support layers. Dualglass media utilizes a graded density concept featuring a decreasing pore size throughout the thickness of the media. This results in maximizing particulate capacity by utilizing the entire depth of the media to capture contaminants. Wire mesh support layers, up and downstream ensure element integrity against adverse flow conditions such as cold starts, flow surges, and fatigue. The synergy of our Dualglass media pack yields the high removal efficiencies, high dirt capacity, and element life required to achieve and maintain fluid cleanliness, even while operating at high differential pressures. Βx=>200 removal ratings include 1, 3, 6, 10, 12, 15, & 25 micron. The Hy-Pro Dualglass element gives you the winning edge in the battle to reduce equipment downtime, operating costs, and extend equipment life.

bullet Compatibility: Dualglass components are corrosion resistant and compatible with petroleum based oils, synthetic fluids, water-glycols, oil-water emulsions, and HWBF (per ISO 2943). Viton and E.P.R. seals are available for specified synthetic applications (industrial phosphate esters, Firquil, Skydrol). Stainless components and phosphate coatings are also available.
 
bullet Element Construction: High quality steel hardware furthers element integrity to provide proper flow distribution and guards against element collapse. Hy-Pro's proven heat curing epoxy adhesive bonds all components while providing resistance to degradation when exposed to all applicable fluids.  All Dualglass elements are manufactured to the following ISO quality standards:

bullet Customization: Hy-Pro also offers several alternative medias for your evolving filtration needs. Dualglass in any standard element can be replaced with stainless steel wire mesh with removal ratings of 300, 149, 74, 25, & 10 micron or stainless steel fiber media (recommended for some highly corrosive applications). This media is available with removal ratings of 3, 6, 10, & 25 micron. Hy-Pro can also customize lengths and other dimensions to fit any application.
