HYDAC QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE
Betafit® Filter Elements are dimensionally similar to other manufacturer's elements and will fit interchangeably into their filter housings. There are no claims regarding comparative performance characteristics as applied in actual system operation. In fact, all interchange elements vary greatly in performance and longevity in the systems in which they are applied. HYDAC, a leader in the design of absolute-rated fiberglass filters, focuses on the optimization of the following characteristics:

  • Large dirt-holding capacity for long life and economy
  • Rugged construction for resistance to extreme conditions of pressure and pulsation
  • High quality durable adhesive used to bond the end caps to the media and to bond the seam of the media.

HYDAC quality BETAFIT® Filter Elements perform equally to our proprietary elements, because HYDAC uses comparable construction practices, the same media materials, high quality production techniques and performance testing.
 
PRICE AND VALUE
Initial cost is an important factor, so HYDAC prices their BETAFIT® Filter Elements competitively. However, HYDAC recommends that careful consideration be given to the long-term cost savings resulting from elements having exceptional efficiency and dirt-holding capacity, thus, resulting in well controlled cleanliness levels. When measured on the basis of performance to price, HYDAC products offer a superior value.
 
PROVEN PERFORMANCE AND QUALITY MANUFACTURING
HYDAC designs, manufactures and tests absolute-rated filter elements at their headquarters plant in Bethlehem, PA. Through active product development efforts, HYDAC, where quality is standard, continually seeks to improve performance of existing elements and continues expanding our comprehensive line of element interchanges.
 
Recognizing that filters operate under harsh conditions and that system and component failures can be disastrous to your equipment. HYDAC follows strict QC practices and maintains wide design wide safety margins in the manufacture and application of HYDAC Products and Services.
 
RANGE OF PRODUCTS
HYDAC provides a wide range of cartridge filter elements, spin-ons, air breathers, and suction strainers — and can interchange a high percentage of products made by competitive filter element manufacturers. As a result many companies find that converting to HYDAC BETAFIT® elements allow them to consolidate purchases and reduce inventory while enjoying superior performance.
 
AVAILABILITY
HYDAC stocking distributors, like Flo-Products, are located throughout the U.S. and Canada, and offer support with local inventory and selection assistance. HYDAC supports their distributors with an additional stock of BETAFIT® interchange elements, most of which are produced at the HYDAC plant in Bethlehem, PA. If HYDAC customers require support outside of North America, HYDAC will make arrangements through the worldwide distribution network of HYDAC of Germany.
 
SELECTION PROCEDURE
To select a BETAFIT® interchange, one needs to determine their current filter manufacturer's element type code, and match it to the corresponding HYDAC element type code from their listings. Flo-Products will be glad to review your current usage and recommend a suitable interchange.
The BETAFIT® Filter Element brochure contains the information necessary to convert to HYDAC elements.
