	QUBE Soft Start and Shut-off Valves QUBE Series Soft Start Valves are designed to gently move cylinders, actuators and other pneumatic devices into their starting positions under low pressure to eliminate the shock caused by filling a pneumatic system at full pressure. This will prolong the life of pneumatic equipment and increase the level of safety for machine operators. QUBE Series Solenoid Shut Off Valves are designed to shut off the incoming pressure to a machine/system and rapidly exhaust the downstream pressure, via an electrical signal, so as to act as an emergency stop valve. There are 4 types of valves: SSA Autopilot Soft Start Valve When pressure is supplied to the inlet port, gradual filling of the downstream system occurs through the adjustable needle valve. The piston opens the main valve when the downstream side of the valve reacheds approximately 60% of the supply pressure. The ramp up time to reach the switch over pressure is adjustable via the needle valve in the cover. The Autopilot soft start valve is not intended to be used as a shut off valve and should always be placed after a shut off valve. SS Solenoid Soft Start Valve The solenoid soft start valves operate similarly to the auto pilot soft start, but full flow/full pressure is achieved by energizing the solenoid. When pressure is supplied to the inlet port, gradual filling of the downstream system occurs through the adjustable needle valve. The piston opens the main valve when the solenoid is energized. The ramp up time to reach the switch over pressure is adjustable via the needle valve in the cover. The switch over point may occur at any point between 30 psi and the supply pressure. The solenoid may be energized via a downstream sensing device such as a pressure switch (PS-6-1). S Solenoid Shut Off / Quick Exhaust Valve The solenoid quick exhaust valves are high flow, high exhaust, normally closed, 3 port, 2 position directional control valves. Upon energizing the solenoid, inlet air is applied to the top of the piston. The piston pushed against the spring and opens the main valve providing full flow air to the downstream. When the solenoid is de-energized, the main valve closes allowing downstream air to exhaust rapidly through the bottom plug. The bottom plug is tapped so that exhaust may be piped away or fitted with a muffler. SC Combination Auto Pilot Soft Start / Solenoid Shut Off / Quick Exhaust Valve These valves combine the features of the auto-pilot soft-start with the enhanced safety features of the solenoid shut-off / quick exhaust valve.
		QUBE 75 Series Soft Start and Shut-off Valve These valves help prolong the life of pneumatic components and increase safety for machine operators. The high exhaust capacity makes for quick depletion of air pressure in pneumatic systems. The series also feautures high inlet to outlet flow capacity. Standard features are zinc body with brass bottom plug, 1/2" NPT exhaust port, 2 gauge ports of 1/8" NPT, adjustable ramp up time on soft-start, 110V 60Hz standard solenoid which includes manual override and joins directly with other QUBE components. Port sizes are 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2". Substitute features are 24 VDC coil and 24 VAC 60Hz coil. QUBE 75 Series Specifications and Options

		QUBE 105 Series Soft Start and Shut-off Valve These valves help prolong the life of pneumatic components and increase safety for machine operators. The high exhaust capacity makes for quick depletion of air pressure in pneumatic systems. The series also feautures high inlet to outlet flow capacity. Standard features are zinc body with brass bottom plug (S & SC) or zinc bottom plug (SS & SSA), 3/4" NPT exhaust port, 2 gauge ports of 1/4" NPT, adjustable ramp up time on soft-start, 110V 60Hz standard solenoid which includes manual override and joins directly with other QUBE components. Port sizes are 3/8", 1/2" and 3/4". Substitute features are 24 VDC coil and 24 VAC 60Hz coil. QUBE 105 Series Specifications and Options

	QUBE Modular Components QUBE modulare components are used to provide the connections between QUBE f-r-ls and the associated piping. They provide the ability to branch lines off of the f-r-l; rotate components 90 degreees; and divert the air flow with minimal pressure drop. QUBE components connect to one another by means of an O-ring seal and two machine screws. Every QUBE component except regulators and integral filter/regulators come with an O-ring and two screws.
		SV Series Shut-off Valve This shut-off valve has the following characteristics: Threaded ports allows use in-line or with other QUBE modular FRL components. Accepst customer supplied standard single padlock or safety lock for multiple lockout. Conforms to OSHA standard 29 CFR part 10. 3 port/2 position shut-off valve relieves downstream pressure when closed. SV valves can be locked in the closed position only. Maximum pressure: 300 psig. 		End Plates End plates are designed to allow you to install or remove your basic components without direct pipe connections to the components. In addition, each series has end plates one port size larger than the basic units, allowing you to take full advantage of the QUBE's superior performance. There are two types: Type 0731 has slots for screw pass through, and Type 0732 has tapped holes. Component Specifications and Options

		Porting Blocks (105 Series) Designed to fit within any 105 Series combination, providing two 3/8" branch lines. There are two types: Type 0733 has slots for screw pass through, and Type 0734 has tapped holes. Component Specifications and Options

		Branch Blocks (35 & 55 Series) These blocks function as end plates with 1/8" NPT branch lines available top and bottom. In addition, they are used in conjunction with direction plates and regulators to provide outlets for gauges. Component Specifications and Options

		Direction Plates Direction plates are designed to allow 90° rotation of QUBE components allowing manifolding of units and resulting in great space and cost savings. They are also used to mount units from different series to one another. Component Specifications and Options

		Diverter Blocks Diverter blocks are designed to mount in a variety of configurations with the capability of having branch line components mounted directly, giving multiple air lines with minimal pressure drop. 	QUBE 255 Series Modular System
		QUBE 255 Series Filters - High Flow This filter features excellent water removal efficiency and a large filter element surface guarantees low pressure drop and increased element life. Port sizes range from 3/4 to 1 NPT with a port block available to provide 1 1/2" port size. Maximum operating pressure is up to 250 PSIG. Body is aluminum with an aluminum bowl with sight glass and manual drain. Filtration is 40 micron standard with optional filtration of 5 micron or adsorber. 		QUBE 251 Series Coalescing Filter - High Flow This filter features a large filter element surface that guarantees low pressure drop and increased element life. Port sizes are 3/4" and 1" NPT with a port block available to provide 1½" port size. Maximum operating pressure is up to 250 PSIG. Body is aluminum with an aluminum bowl with sight glass and manual drain. Filtration with a Grade 6 element removes oil and water aerosols withing ISO 8573-1 Class 1 standards. Particulate removal down to .01 micron with a maximum remaining oil aerosol content of .008 PPM @ 70°F. Flow is 120 SCFM for a dry element and 100 SCFM for a saturated element. 		QUBE 255 Series Regulator - High Flow This regulator features a self relieving feature plus balanced poppet to provide a quick response and accurate pressure regulation. It has a solid control piston for extended life. Port sizes are 3/4" and 1" NPT with a port block available to provide 1½" port size. Maximum operating pressure is up to 250 PSIG. Standard pressure range is 0 to 125 PSI. Body is aluminum. Flow is 200 SCFM for 3/4" ports to 300 SCFM for 1½" ports. Options include: bracket, internal auto drain, pressure gauges of 0-60, 0-160 and 0-300 psig, non-relieving poppet, and additional pressure ranges of 1 to 60 psig and 5 to 250 psig. 		QUBE 255 Series Mist Lubricator - High Flow This lubricator delivers proportional oil over a wide range of air flows. Its bowl, with a capacity of 16 oz., can be filled while the air line is under pressure. It has a transparent sight dome for 360° visibility. Port sizes range from 3/4" to 1" NPT with a port block available to provide 1½" port size. Maximum operating pressure is up to 250 PSIG. Body is aluminum with an aluminum bowl with sight glass and manual drain. Flow is 230 SCFM for 3/4" ports to 250 SCFM for 1½" ports. 		QUBE 255 Series Combination Units - High Flow These combo units are made up of the individual units identified above along with mounting brackets (if necessary), and port block kits. They are available in either filter/regulator + lubricator (BL) or filter + regulator + lubricator (FRL). Combination units are limited to filter and lubricator bowl choices, filtration, and pressure range options only. Regulators may be mounted with the knob up or down.
