| The Arrow Pneumatics manufactures two types of in-line hydraulic filters. These are for small, high pressure systems on the pressure side of the pump to prevent foreign particles of 25 microns and larger, such as those created by pump wear, from entering valves. | |||||||||||||||

Hydraulic In-Line FilterThis in-line filter provides protection for small, high pressure systems up to 3,000 psi. A sintered bronze element insures protection against crushing should dirt accumulate and increase pressure drop across the element. The unique construction features an anodized aluminum housing for light weight, and a conically shaped sintered bronze element positioned by a retaining spring to allow true, uninterrupted axial flow. Special viton O-rings are available for oil systems where chemical action may be a problem. The standard 25 micron bronze filter element can be easily cleaned or replaced. Nominal filtration ratings of 90, 40, or 10 microns are available. Maximum operating pressure is 3,000 psi. Operating temperatures are 35°F to 200°F. For viton O-rings, the operating temperatures are 35°F to 400°F.
Use suffix V for viton seals. For 90, 40, or 10 micron elements, use micron size as a dash number and add to part no., i.e., 9052-10, EK9052-10. |

The design is similar in performance to the model 9052 and 9053 filters, with the added convenience of a cleanable element that can be removed without breaking line connections. A filter access cap simply unscrews for easy element cleaning and replacement. The anodized aluminum housing is light weight. Porting is 1/4" NPT, 3/8" NPT or 9/16"-18 SAE pipe. Special viton O-rings are available for oil systems where chemical action may be a problem. The standard 25 micron bronze filter element can be easily cleaned or replaced. | The Cim-Tek Division of the Central Illinois Manufacturing Company manufactures spin-on filters that are a direct replacement for many other manufacturers' filters. Cim-Tek manufactures filters with six different types of media: resin-impregnated cellulose, Cim-Glass, Microglass, HYDROSORB®, HYDROGLASS® and wire mesh. Depending on the type of hydraulic fluid being filtered, one or more of the above types of filters will provide excellent filtration. There are four classes of hydraulic fluid where Cim-Tek filters can be specified. These classes are:
Cim-Glass is constructed of high-performance microglass laminated to resin-impregnated cellulose. Microglass is a high-performance particulate filter with three times the dirt-holding capacity of the resin-impregnated cellulose filter. HYDROSORB® is a patented filter medium using a fiberglass impregnated with a super-absorbent and laminated to a resin-impregnated cellulose for particulate and water removal. HYDROGLASS® is a high-performance patented medium of HYDROSORB and microglass for water and particulate removal. Wire screen is stainless steel wire mesh. |

Mesh Tank StrainersThe mesh tank strainers are designed for hydraulic fluid reservoirs. The strainers are constructed of 100 mesh stainless steel cloth set in die-cast aluminum endcaps sealed with epoxy adhesive. 3 psi by-pass valves are optional to detour pump starvation in the event the strainer becomes plugged with contaminates. Consult the factory for BSP threads and other configurations.
