Watts FluidAir desiccant dryers are the simplest and most reliable method of insuring your sensitive pneumatic equipment is not exposed to damaging moisture. They are available in 3 models with capacities ranging to 60 SCFM and pressure dewpoints down to -40° & -45°F. Port sizes range from 1/4 inch to 1 inch NPT ports.

Model SGM100 Silica Gel

Watts FluidAir's 100% indicating silica gel provides for maximum moisture adsorption and dewpoints down to -40°F. Outstanding features of the SGM100 include:
  • High adsorption capacity-The average surface area for each bead is over 200 ft.²|
  • Low abrasion, due to high mechanical strength for long service life.
  • Ideal packing in bowl due to bead shape.
  • Uniform color change
  • Excellent regeneration characteristics
As the silica gel beads adsorb moisture, they change from blue to pink, indicating the need for replacement or regeneration. Teh desiccant can be regenerated by heating in a drying oven to a temperature above 212°F but not over 350°F. Desiccant may also be regenerated in microwave ovens. Available in 5 lb. cans and 4x5 lb. master packs.

Model AA000 Activated Alumina

While the non-indicating cost effective activated alumina does not have the moisture holding capacity of the SGM100 silica gel, the AA000 provides compressed air dewpoints to -45°F. Available in 5 lb. cans and 4x5 lb. master packs.

Model ED900 Electric Solenoid Drain

The Electric Drain ED900 provides reliable and cost effective drainage of particulate and coalescing filters, moisture separators, aftercoolers, dryers, air receivers and other "hard to get to" places where condensate may accumulate. The ED900 consists of an adjustable electric timer mated with a heavy duty solenoid valve. An electric push button provides a manual override for fast on-the-spot testing.
